ABOUT R STUDIO

R Studio is a welcoming community with educated instructors and dedicated students. We offer a blend of mind body classes like functional fitness, studio style yoga, and our original workout Kraline. You won’t find boring cookie cutter workouts here. Our teachers have been trained to develop and implement their own original workouts. Class sizes are conducive to offering individual modifications for injuries and for different levels of fitness and ability.

Fitness at R Studio – We are passionate about improving your level of health and wellness with functional fitness training. Our fitness classes are a blend of full body strength training, core training, and anaerobic and aerobic conditioning. R Studio has a reputation for creative, efficient, fun, and safe workouts.

Kraline (kruh-lean) at R Studio – Kraline is an original mind body workout created by one of our founders Kristen Aline. R Studio is the only place you will find this workout. Kraline is a low impact, toning, balance, and core workout done on a yoga mat with light dumbbells.

Yoga at R Studio – Yoga at R Studio is so much more than just stretching your body and moving toward a greater level of fitness. Yoga is also about balancing your body, mind, and spirit.

Kristen ­Gostomski, Co-Owner
B.S. in Sport, Health & Physical Studies
Kristen founded Team Fitness in 2003 to give her clients a fun, creative, caring environment to pursue their fitness goals. Since then, Kristen and her staff have helped 1,000s of people live healthier lives. With the introduction of her new mind body workout Kraline (kruh-lean) in 2008, and the addition of the already established Liz Taylor yoga community in 2009, Team Fitness, Inc / DBA Gemini Personal Training evolved into what is now R Studio. Tim Vos, Co-Owner
B.S. in Exercise Science
After working closely with Kristen for over seven years Tim formed a partnership with her in the creation of R Studio. Tim has been a personal trainer/fitness instructor since 2002 and has been studying Kraline with Kristen since the beginning of its development in 2007. He has had an instrumental role in the evolution of Kraline and continues to work closely with Kristen in the creation of new poses, moves, and exercises. Tim’s creative personality coupled with his expertise in strength and conditioning makes for effective fun workouts that keep people coming back for more.
Beth Damm, Co-­Director of Yoga
Beth is a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, and has completed the Kripalu Yoga training in St. Augustine, Florida with Discovery Yoga. Kripalu Yoga is a conscious practice of physical yoga postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques for integrating body, mind and spirit. In the fall of 2010, Beth became a Relax and Renew ® Trainer with the approval of Judith Hanson Lasater. Beth taught her first yoga class in January 2006 under the guidance of her yoga teacher, Liz Taylor who introduced her to the life-changing practice.
Julie Rice, Co-­Director of Yoga
Julie is a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance. Julie has been practicing yoga for over ten years, and began teaching yoga with the guidance of her teacher, Liz Taylor. She completed a 200 hour teacher training program through Sun Moon Yoga in Mankato, MN in June of 2009. Julie loves to share her passion and joy of the practice of yoga with her students.
Kristine Forret, Kraline and Fitness Instructor
Kristine began studying Kraline with Kristen in 2008, and has been working closely with her ever since. Kristine grew so quickly in her practice that Kristen asked her to be a part of her first instructional DVD called “Introducing Kraline”. Kristine has since become an instructor and has completed Kristen’s new Kraline certification program.

Matt Cox, Fitness Instructor
B.S in Exercise Science
Matt has been a personal trainer/fitness instructor since 2002, and is the head coach for the Bondurant/Farrar High School boys soccer team.
